As Senior Publicist of the iconic and trusted PEOPLE, PEOPLE En Español, and Entertainment Weekly brands, Paula Ngon manages the day-to-day of the pressroom, generating widespread and impactful coverage for these leading entertainment brands’ content, event franchises, partnerships, news-making moments and more. In addition to her strong relationships with the media, and creator-inclusive communications strategy, Paula works closely with the brands' marketing partners on exclusive initiatives and events such as premieres, award shows, red carpets, the PEOPLE & SAG-AFTRA Post-Awards Gala, PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive Franchise, PEOPLE & Entertainment Weekly’s Red Carpet Live shows and more. Working in such a fast-paced environment, Paula stays on the pulse of what's trending in the industry and after spending the latter part of her career studying the media shift from the lens of a legacy company, she has adopted both traditional and non-traditional PR methods in a media landscape that's ever-evolving and adapting to the world of consumers and creators.

At PEOPLE's parent company, Meredith Corporation, Paula also serves as Global Chair of :BLACKPRINT, the Black Employee Business Group representative of the Black voice at Meredith. Her passion for diverse storytelling and positive representation of people of color in media and entertainment drives her desire to push for advancements in the industry.
As the Global Lead for :BLACKPRINT, Paula has reinvented the roll of traditional ERGs and solidified BLACKPRINT's standing as a business asset to the corporation's bottom line. Her passion for diverse storytelling and positive representation of people of color in media and entertainment has driven her desire to push for advancements in the industry. As part of this role, Paula has created three new content series: :BLACKPRINT #NoFilter and "In Conversation With" - where Black changemakers like John Legend, Janelle Monae and Stacey Abrams and more speak to the importance of diversity in the media and :BP POWER HOUR's where attendees are able to obtain tangible skills to assist in their personal growth and professional career.
NYC Black ERG Collective / Founding Member
Additionally, as part of this role, Paula lead :BLACKPRINT to become a founding member of the NYC Black ERG Collective, a group consisting of media companies such as Facebook, Twitter, NBCUniversal, Viacom, among others, which joined forces to make meaningful strides towards the advancement of Black employees in corporate America through networking, community service, and mentorship.

The series explores different aspects of diversity and representation through candid conversations with your favorite entertainers, inspirers and changemakers who discuss topics such as diversity in the media & workplace, civic engagement, and moving the industry forward. Good Impressions by Meredith Corporation / Board Member
We made it our mission to help bridge the wealth and social gap for minority-owned small businesses through Good Impressions, a new pro bono media and marketing consultation program.
Good Impressions utilizes Meredith’s marketing and advertising expertise, plus our community of 190 million consumers, to help promote awareness and boost the sales of BIPOC- and/or LGBTQIA-owned businesses from across the food, beauty, personal care, and household product categories.
Consultation packages valued at $100,000 each are awarded to a select group of 5-10 businesses at various stages of growth and development.
