At PEOPLE's parent company, Meredith Corporation, I also serve as Global Chair of :BLACKPRINT, the Black Employee Business Group representative of the Black voice at Meredith. My passion for diverse storytelling and positive representation of people of color in media and entertainment drives my desire to push for multicultural advancements in the industry.
As the Global Lead for :BLACKPRINT, I have reinvented the roll of traditional ERGs and solidified BLACKPRINT's standing as a business asset to the corporation's bottom line. As part of this role, Paula has created three new content series: :BLACKPRINT #NoFilter and "In Conversation With" - where Black changemakers like John Legend, Nia Long, Stacey Abrams and more speak to the importance of diversity in the media and bring those conversations back into the editorial content across the Meredith portfolio.
Additionally, as part of this role, I spearheaded :BLACKPRINT becoming a founding member of the NYC Black ERG Collective, a group consisting of media companies such as Facebook, Twitter, NBCUniversal, Viacom, among others, which joined forces to make meaningful strides towards the advancement of Black employees in corporate America through networking, community service, and mentorship.
